It is indeed a privilege for us to be associated with a brand like ‘Kiehl’s’ which is recognized world over not only for its high quality products, but also its Corporate Social Responsibility that is deeply embedded within the core objectives of the brand. It was also a pleasure to learn that Preservation of Environment, Child welfare & Aids awareness is very high on Kiehl’s philosophy. This is perfectly in sync with our philosophy of making citizens recognize that nature’s two great givers, mothers (when girls grow up) and trees are facing unprecedented destruction and the continuation of such harm will seriously threaten human life itself.
 A new & focused sapling distribution activity is planned in and around the Kiehl’s store in Vasant  Kunj.  We propose to also deploy part of the funds from Kiehl’s for our ongoing and very
successful sapling distributions from Delhi (Bangla Sahib Gurudwara & Sacred Heart Cathedral). These saplings are given free of charge to all devotees coming to our stalls. This activity has been ongoing since the last one year and from these outlets approx. 45,000 saplings have been distributed free of charge to date.

We are positive that the Nanhi Chhaan- Kiehls partnership will go a long way towards correcting Environment degradation in our region as well as provide the necessary impetus to correct the rather dismal Tree cover in India.

Another important component of this launch was the sale of bags and coffee mugs, the proceeds of which will come to Nanhi Chhaan as well. Ms. Koel Purie and Ms. Ambika Pillai very kindly consented to sign on these limited edition items which were very enthusiastically bought by the audience in support of charity.
